Goldilocks and the Three Bears
A classic tale about a curious little girl named Goldilocks who wanders into the home of three bears while they are out, trying their porridge, chairs, and beds before she is discovered.
Once upon a time, three bears lived in a small house in the forest. There was Father Bear, Mother Bear, and Baby Bear.
One morning Mother Bear made three bowls of porridge. But the porridge was too hot.
“Let us go for a walk while the porridge cools,” said Father Bear. So the three bears went into the forest.
Soon a little girl named Goldilocks came to the house. She knocked on the door, but no one was home.
Goldilocks went inside. She saw three bowls of porridge.
“This porridge is too hot,” she said. “This porridge is too cold,” she said. “This porridge is just right,” she said.
She ate the porridge in the small bowl. She saw three chairs.
“This chair is too hard,” said Goldilocks. “This chair is too soft,” said Goldilocks. “This chair is just right,” said Goldilocks.
She sat in the small chair, but it broke. Goldilocks went upstairs. She saw three beds.
“This bed is too hard,” said Goldilocks. “This bed is too soft,” said Goldilocks. “This bed is just right,” said Goldilocks.
Goldilocks fell asleep. Soon the three bears came home.
“Someone has been eating my porridge!” said Father Bear. “Someone has been eating my porridge!” said Mother Bear. “Someone has been eating my porridge!” said Baby Bear.
“My porridge is gone!” said Baby Bear. The three bears looked at their chairs.
“Someone has been sitting in my chair!” said Father Bear. “Someone has been sitting in my chair!” said Mother Bear. “Someone has been sitting in my chair!” said Baby Bear.
“My chair is broken!” said Baby Bear. The three bears went upstairs.
“Someone has been sleeping in my bed!” said Father Bear. “Someone has been sleeping in my bed!” said Mother Bear. “Someone has been sleeping in my bed!” said Baby Bear.
“She is still there!” said Baby Bear. Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears. She jumped out of bed and ran away.
