Max had a song inside him, he was eager to play. But where to begin? Tapping showed him the way!

Max had an idea from his finger tap-tap-tap. He'd build a new song using a music map!

For the first sound layer, Max knew what to do. He tapped a beat with his fingers, steady and true! Tap-tap-tap!

Max added a second layer to his music map, Creating a rhythm with a finger snap! Snap-snap-snap!

Max clapped his hands with a giggle of glee. Then he knew exactly what the third sound should be! Clap-clap-clap!

For the fourth sound he needed something loud and clear. Max shook his maracas and grinned ear to ear! Flap-flap-flap!

Next, Max needed a baseline in the perfect place. For the fifth sound, he started playing the bass! Slap-slap-slap!

The sixth sound for the map was electric and cool, Max played his turntables, a special musical tool! Zap-zap-zap!

The song was ready! Only one thing was wrong. Max needed an audience to hear his new song!

His family sat down to hear what he had been doing all day. Feeling nervous, Max closed his eyes and pressed play…

The music began, and oh, what a sound! His family jumped up and they all danced around!

Max’s music was filled with a tap, snap and clap, He had made a great song with a flap, slap and zap!
