When Max notices fewer insects coming to his garden, he throws a party to encourage more to visit!

Some days Max hops in his colorful garden and sees many insects.

Some days, the garden is quiet with no insects at all.

Max asks Bella the butterfly. She said, "Insects love sunny, warm days."

On sunny days the flowers open and insects come to the garden.

But on rainy days, the flowers stay closed. The insects stay in their homes.

Max decides to have a garden party for his insect friends.

Max decorates the garden. He waits for his insect friends to arrive.

One by one, more and more insects arrive. Bees, dragonflies and butterflies join the party.

But then the sky turned dark and it started to rain. The insects flew away. Max was sad.

But Bella says, "Don't worry Max! The insects will be back when the sun comes out."

Max learned something important that day. He did not have to worry.

More insects or less insects, his garden will always be busy, and full of life.
