Once upon a time, a chicken named Chicken Little walked in the forest. She looked up at the sky.

Suddenly an acorn fell from a tree. It hit Chicken Little on the head.

“Oh no!” said Chicken Little. “The sky is falling!”

“I must tell the king,” said Chicken Little. So she ran down the road.

Soon Duck saw Chicken Little. “Where are you going?” asked Duck.

“The sky is falling!” said Chicken Little. “I must tell the king.” “I will come with you,” said Duck.

Soon Goose saw them running. “Where are you going?” asked Goose.

“The sky is falling!” said Chicken Little. “We must tell the king.” “I will come with you,” said Goose.

Soon Turkey saw them running. “Where are you going?” asked Turkey.

“The sky is falling!” said Chicken Little. “We must tell the king.” “I will come with you,” said Turkey.

“Oh! I made a mistake,” said Chicken Little. “The sky is not falling.” “It was an acorn!”
