High above the world, the North Wind and the Sun watched a traveler on the road below. Each boasted, “I am the stronger!"

The North Wind puffed his chest. “See that traveler? Whoever can make him take off his cloak is the mightier one.”

The North Wind went first. He filled his lungs and blew with all his strength.

Trees bent. Dust danced in spirals. The traveler clutched his cloak tighter and gritted his teeth.

Harder and colder the wind blew, but the tighter the man wrapped himself, hiding even his face.

Finally, the North Wind huffed, “No more! He’ll never give up his cloak!”

Then the Sun smiled gently. “Now it’s my turn.”

Golden rays spread across the road. The cold faded. The air grew soft and kind.

The traveler blinked, feeling the warmth on his shoulders. He loosened his cloak, sighed, and smiled.

Soon he slipped it off completely, folded it neatly, and carried it on his arm.

The Sun beamed brightly but not harshly. The North Wind drifted aside, quiet and thoughtful.

“Strength isn’t always about force,” the Sun said kindly. “Warmth and gentleness can do what cold power cannot.”

The wind rustled softly now, carrying a promise to be gentler next time.

And high above, the Sun glowed steady and warm. Proof that kindness, not fury, wins the day.
